it all begins and ends with an intimate relationship with the VineSacrifice Vineyards is a place where fellowship, faith and hospitality come together. Located in Brenham, Texas, our vineyard is more than a destination for wine. It’s a place to gather, reflect, celebrate, and experience meaningful connection with the land, with one another, and with the Lord.
Our heart is to create a welcoming space where guests can enjoy remarkable surroundings, delicious wine and thoughtful hospitality—creating the kind of memories that have you planning your next visit before you ever leave.
more than
a vineyard The name Sacrifice Vineyards carries deep meaning. It honors the sacrifice of the farmer who tends the vineyard, the sacrifice of the grape as it is transformed into wine, and most importantly, the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ. This meaning is central to who we are and to the purpose behind everything we are building.
For us, wine is not the whole story. It is simply one part of a much greater one. At Sacrifice Vineyards, it all begins and ends with an intimate connection to the Vine.
passion with a purposeSacrifice Vineyards exists to create relational spaces that introduce and cultivate closeness with Jesus and the people who matter most. We want this to be a place of refuge and formation—a place where faith and relationships flourish in every season.
Whether you come to enjoy a tasting, celebrate a wedding, or sit quietly in prayer, our desire is that you encounter peace, beauty, and the love of God.
Our purpose shapes everything we do. It influences the way we welcome guests, steward the land, host gatherings, and create spaces for celebration, reflection, and connection.
built for TexasOur land features wonderful sandy soil that is especially well-suited for growing grapes. Combined with the Brenham climate and the care being poured into the vineyard, it provides an excellent foundation for producing strong, healthy vines and quality fruit.
Planted in 2025, as the vines mature, they are becoming part of a larger story—one that reflects patience, stewardship, growth, and the beauty of bearing fruit in its proper season.
Our grape varieties include a mix full of character that is resistant to many of the challenges the Texas weather delivers: Blanc du Bois, Black Spanish (Lenoir), Camminare Noir, Errante Noir, and Paseante Noir.
One especially meaningful detail is that Camminare, Errante, and Paseante are all names connected to walking or moving forward. These varieties were developed by Dr. Walker of UC Davis, making their names a fitting reflection of progress, growth, and journey.
coming soonSacrifice Vineyards is being thoughtfully developed in phases. The first building is our event barn, which honors the original barn that once stood on the property. It will first serve as a temporary tasting room and later become a rental space for parties, showers, dinners, and other gatherings.
Future plans include a grand tasting room with a private tasting area, a covered back deck overlooking the lake, and a welcoming front porch where you can relax in a rocking chair as you watch the sun set over the vines. Additional plans include guest cottages, a wedding chapel nestled among the oak trees, and a beautiful event hall for receptions, meetings, and more.
When you arrive, you will be welcomed by a striking limestone entrance, large gates, and a historic 1890s windmill from Kevin’s grandfather’s ranch—an especially meaningful piece of family heritage woven into the property’s story.
our farm, His purposeWe are grateful for what God has entrusted to us and can’t wait to share this gift with others. We are creating a place where people can savor wine, celebrate life, enjoy the beauty of Texas, and be drawn into something deeper.
This is more than a vineyard. It is a place for fellowship, reflection, joy, and connection to the Vine.
