About Sacrifice Vineyards
Sacrifice Vineyards is a place where wine, faith, hospitality, and meaningful relationships come together.
Our mission is to facilitate meaningful relationships with Jesus, family, and friends by creating an unforgettable hospitality experience.
Our vision is to become a place of refuge and formation, where faith and relationships flourish in every season.
Everything we do is shaped by our core values:
Abiding in Christ
We remain rooted in Jesus, trusting that true and lasting fruit comes from daily dependence, prayer, and surrendered faithfulness to His will and ways.
Intentional Hospitality
We create spaces where people are genuinely welcomed, known, and invited to belong, at the table, in the vineyard, and in conversation.
Cultivated Relationships
We invest time, care, and patience into relationships with family, friends, and community, believing depth grows through presence, consistency, and intentional God conversations.
Faithful Stewardship
We steward land, people, resources, and responsibility with integrity, gratitude, and care for future generations.
Formation Over Production
We value who people are becoming more than what they produce, trusting that healthy growth leads to good fruit in its proper season.
About the Role
Hospitality Hosts are the heart of the guest experience at Sacrifice Vineyards. They welcome guests into our tasting room, serve wine and other offerings, share the story of the vineyard, and help create an atmosphere that feels warm, peaceful, personal, and memorable.
This role involves the practical responsibilities of tasting-room service, but it is much more than a serving position. We are looking for people who understand that hospitality is an opportunity to care for others.
Our Hospitality Hosts should notice when someone needs assistance, remember the small details, anticipate needs, engage guests in genuine conversation, and help each person feel as though they have been welcomed into the beautiful backyard of a trusted friend.
Wine or restaurant experience is helpful, but it is not our highest priority. We are willing to train candidates who demonstrate exceptional character, a strong work ethic, a heart for service, and genuine alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Sacrifice Vineyards.
Primary Responsibilities
Hospitality Hosts will:
Warmly welcome and engage tasting-room guests.
Guide guests through wine tastings and explain available wines, food offerings, experiences, and events.
Serve wine and other products responsibly, accurately, and graciously.
Learn and confidently communicate the Sacrifice Vineyards story, mission, and guest experience.
Create an environment in which guests feel noticed, comfortable, valued, and invited to belong.
Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and thoughtfully.
Accurately enter orders, process payments, and follow established service procedures.
Maintain clean, organized, attractive, and well-stocked guest areas.
Assist with opening, closing, setup, cleanup, and other tasting-room duties.
Support private events, live music evenings, holiday activities, and seasonal vineyard experiences.
Work cooperatively with fellow team members and communicate with honesty, humility, and respect.
Follow all policies related to alcohol service, food safety, workplace safety, attendance, and guest care.
Represent Sacrifice Vineyards with professionalism and integrity both during work and in interactions with guests and the community.
The Person We Are Looking For
A strong Hospitality Host candidate:
Genuinely enjoys serving and connecting with people.
Reflects warmth, humility, kindness, patience, and emotional maturity.
Understands the difference between completing a transaction and creating a meaningful experience.
Is dependable, punctual, prepared, and willing to take responsibility.
Pays attention to details without losing sight of the guest.
Remains gracious and composed during busy or challenging situations.
Is teachable and receptive to direction and feedback.
Works well as part of a team and willingly helps beyond assigned duties.
Communicates clearly and respectfully.
Exercises good judgment and handles responsibility with integrity.
Is comfortable working in an openly Christian, faith-centered environment.
Can support and represent the mission, vision, and core values of Sacrifice Vineyards.
